As a church we give 10% of our income to further the work of God by supporting those on the mission field both at home and abroad.
FREE METHODIST WORLD MISSIONS
Revive supports Michael & Maria Long to work with two Greek Free Methodist Churches, Langadas and Thessaloniki. Since the Kosovo war, the Longs have also been conducting mercy ministries to the Balkans, with regular shipments of food, clothing and medicines to Serbia, Kosovo and Bulgaria. The 'Anagenesis Internet Bookstore' they run in Thessaloniki offers ongoing children's programmes, a youth club and English classes. For more information on this work see www.fmwm.org
Revive also supports the work of missionary nurse, Sheila Etherington in Kibogora, Rwanda, Central Africa.
WORLD HORIZONS
World Horizons exists on behalf of people and places not yet prayed for, churches not yet planted and missionaries not yet sent. They do this by focussing on the most difficult areas of the world where there are no churches or very few Christians. They aim to see praying and worshipping communities of believers living throughout these areas and sharing the message of redemption with those around them. REVIVE supports a young Christian family in Fez, Morocco to do just that. For more information see www.worldhorizons.org
STAUROS MINISTRIES
'Stauros' is the greek word for 'Cross' and Stauros exists to minister to those who are addicted to alcohol or drugs and offer support to their families through the love of Jesus. The Stauros foundation is evangelical with a biblical base, believing that new life in Christ leads to contented, sober living. www.stauros.com
BARNABUS
Care, support and dignity for the homeless, the prostitutes and the addicts on the streets of Manchester. REVIVE support Barnabus to do this, through a mobile medical unit and soup van, outreach work 4 nights a week, a drop-in centre providing free meals and a listening ear and a support programme for women being released from prison.
